To walk the colonades at Ashcourt Necropolis is to tread upon grief-soaked stones. You are haunted by absence, enfolded in a thousand dead whispers. Despite our attempts at grand demarcations between living flesh and slow corruption, death remains a shared singularity. – #CLNolan

For some folk Nokes, UFOs are a religion. They’ve got to testify. If it isn’t the Space Gospel at told to them by Commander Ril of the Planet Skareg, it’s that Meldon Hill is a holy place of galactic convergence. I wish all of the preachy bastards would get beamed up. – #DICallaghan

In Hookland, many a folkloric tale starts not with β€˜A long time ago’ or β€˜Far, far away’, but with the line: β€˜Out across the dark moor where strange songs are still heard …’ For folklore tells strongly of place and our relationships to it. – Dr. M. Benn #Folklore #FolkloreThursday

People talk about us Children of The Hum as 'weirdo hippies, 'ragged walkers' blindly following something they couldn't hear, couldn't understand. They never understood that we lived in a landscape of wonder. They saw pylons, we saw sublime structures. – Trippy Pete, ex-Pylon Person #VOH

A fox jumping over a tomb, jumping over the moon.
If you are lucky enough to witness such an event, you may choose to whisper important news to the fox:
the passing of a loved one, the birth of a child, the fall of tyrants.
The news will be passed on to the clan

I wonder what happened to those Atari hackers. I remember visiting one of them in a small room stuffed, it seemed, with unlabelled 3.5 floppies. I'd asked them to get me a word processor, but ended up with half of a German 3d animation program.

The spotted owlet (Athene brama) is a small owl which breeds in tropical Asia from North Pakistan to Southeast Asia. The upperparts are grey-brown, heavily spotted with white. The underparts are white, streaked with brown. The facial disc is pale and the iris is yellow. There is a white neckband and supercilium. Sexes are similar. (from Wikipedia)

Our reference photo has the owl perched in a tree, where two branches diverge. Body is in side profile, breast facing our left, and their head is turned to face us. In the background are more large tree limbs

The first version of "Chaos Servitors" was done on an Atari ST version of Hypercard. I forget the app's name though. I passed it on to some of the Leeds Atari hackers, who promptly lost it.
