By trying to bully nations out of recognising Palestine, Trump is making himself the biggest hurdle to a two-state solution and a lasting peace.

The UK must stand strong with Canada and our allies, we should recognise the Palestinian state right now. No more delays.

This is true. On the other hand, given that we live in a consumer capital world, and those who run it now have an absolute MOUNTAIN of cash sitting around that they have to find something to do with, it's not surprising that sports are the fulcrum around which human rights and a lot else move.

Great news: the High Court has granted permission for a full judicial review of the government's order proscribing Palestine Action under the Terrorism Act.

I think I could have thought of a lot of better things to do while the baby has a nap. The EU-US deal is that kind of thing that needs the existential clamour of the child awake and crying inconsolably.

It's unacceptable that Gazans are having to choose between starving or risking their lives going to aid posts where they could be fired upon.

Netanyahu must fully reopen the supply routes for food and aid, and our Government must be far tougher in demanding it.
