Completely agree that the Sheffield Shield is an example that sports league tables need more decimals! You could have 0.1 points for each goal scored in soccer without subtracting any points for goals conceded to encourage attacking play, for instance.

On one hand, I would've liked to see the tournament go to the last day with Thailand and Scotland vying for the title. On the other, a Thailand team that's lost to UAE and PNG leaves some hope for me, an Indonesian supporter, that they'll be beatable in the Southeast Asian Games in December!

I haven't seen this comparison made since the Perth Test yet, but since it's not every day I can make a cricketing Kendrick Lamar reference, the match was pretty much Mitchell Starc going "fuck the big 3, it's just big me"

It's a shame this India vs SA series is only two Tests, SA's doing a real good job of grinding India down in the field. Great antidote to the Perth Test.
