Newsom: This Saturday, he's ordering our American heroes, the United States military, and forcing them to put on a vulgar display to celebrate his birthday, just as other failed dictators have done in the past

It’s like Watergate, only in this version Nixon directly mails the tapes to Woodward and Bernstein

Trump Is Coming After Biglaw, Too Bad They're 'A Bunch Of Pussies' Just Like Republican Senators - Above the Law George Conway gets real about Biglaw's reaction to the Trump II reign.

“Conway opines as to why Biglaw firms aren’t collectively working together to fight what Trump is doing and protect the legal system as we know it, and he chalks a lot of it up to cowardice.”

There is no "widespread fraud" with Social Security, as Elon Musk is lying about. That's a lie.

This guy is ROBBING US IN THE OPEN while telling us he's "helping" us. BS.

They're eating your Medicare. They're eating your Social Security.

They're eating the funds of the people who paid into them.

That assertion is wrong. The city was in the process of negotiating a new contract with the fire department at the time the budget was being crafted, so additional funding for the department was set aside in a separate fund until that deal was finalized in November. In fact, the city’s fire budget increased more than $50 million year-over-year compared to the last budget cycle, according to Blumenfield’s office, although overall concerns about the department’s staffing level have persisted for a number of years.

I don't know if the LA fire department is properly funded or not but the claim that the city cut its budget last year — which is circulating widely on the right — is false.

As Politico notes, the budget actually INCREASED by $50 million. A portion of the funding was approved in a separate bill.
