What has the ECHR ever done for us?

I was driving in North Tyneside earlier. There was a large mobile advertisement for a travelling fun fair on the side of the road. On the side someone had sprayed 'Britain for the British'. I have not seen that vile message since the height of the NF. It's alarming and frightening.
