Labour very much "playing both sides" with announcements today. Absolutely right to condemn Farage's racist policies, but that condemnation loses efficacy when on the very same day you announce your own, objectively, racist policy. It might not go as far as Reform, but it is still racism as policy.

It's pretty fucking dire if The Beano knows its (mostly primary school aged) audience will not only see you as a punchline, but also get the joke that you're a gullible bullshitter.

This was only 3 years ago.

Elite impunity is absolute.

The Green Party is a genuine democratic, grassroots party run by members and it can be the party we need. It’s very close already. And it can support people who don’t have activity locally. So good luck to the new party and I hope we can work together but I’m not putting all my eggs in that basket.
