Tbh it wasn't totally dreadful, but I can't see people playing this for long. Due to controlling it like your actually in a wheelchair, and you can't play it in handheld mode (I think).

Going with your parents to the store after school or on a weekend, and doing ANYTHING you can to make your way to the video game section. Then spending as much time as you could just taking it all in.

Also all the usual suspects Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, Metroid etc. lol

If you love video games, don't ever let anyone else ruin that for you.
