if i have to make it then i can't find it... therein lies the issue. like i said i think a lot of this would be immediately remedied if there was more algo-topics. it all boils down to bsky feels extremely sanitary on the backend, and i'm a down bad white woman... you can see the clash here. 😭

feeds are almost entirely extremely vague topics like "oc art" or "nsfw gay art," "yuri wlw," "anime artists."

they're much more for broad mediums/genres than someone's taste profile. bsky could deal with having a much more intense spectrum of topics/emergent topic formation a la twitter

as an extra bit of opinion, the art i find on here is way more varied. which is sometimes good, but it seems impossible to pin down what i like... twitter i was able to get my for you page pretty good. though recently it starts shoving generic gimmick/meme account slop down my throat half the time..

as a nsfw art haver (not artist), bsky has been extremely neutral to me. posts get tagged or i tag them, either/or it works!

however it took almost no effort for me to grow on x to at least have like 10 lurkers or something. it's near impossible to feel the same on here... it's sterile feeling.
