It confirmed what I already knew. I have mixed feelings about the entire experience but not about being the diagnosis.

I’m writing a longer piece about this but right now it keeps hitting me that I was formally diagnosed with autism this week.

Although my psychologist confirmed my self-diagnosis in May of last year, she couldn’t do an official assessment for a variety of reasons.
