Our court case is officially in limbo. After originally agreeing to expedite our case, the Court for International Trade has granted the Trump administration's petition for delay until the two other tariff lawsuits are decided by the Federal Appeals Court. 😖

Went to @mischieftoy.com on my lunch to try to find a Father's Day gift for my husband. Didn't find anything for him, picked up something for myself and two games for my kid and discovered I could of just gotten the fancy-ass slime there. I should know to always check Mischief first.

FADING & SUN CARE: Everything you place outside will eventually wear out when exposed to our life-giving ball of plasma. Period. This effect can vary wildly due to tree-cover, time of year, latitude, weather, etc. Like with all outdoor items, we recommend using a fabric UV Protection spray to slow the fading of colors, especially if you have a darker colored flag and if your flag is placed in a consistently sunny area.

Mischief v. Trump Update So...it's been a big week in the wacky world of Trump's trade war. Our lawsuit, Princess Awesome & Stonemeier et al v. Trump, is currently before the Federal Court of International Trade, which ruled on Wednesday in favor of two similar lawsuits, declaring Trump's erratic tariffs unconstitutional and invalid. The ruling was immediately stayed by the appellate court, but a different federal court also ruled against Trump in a similar lawsuit brought by the toy company Learning Resources. They're another one of our suppliers and maker of educational toys and the popular Kanoodle games.

At this point, it's unclear what happens next for our lawsuit. It's possible we'll also win a ruling based on slightly different constitutional grounds, in which case we'd probably end up at the appellate court alongside the first two cases. Or, we may be stalled indefinitely as the first cases make their way toward the Supreme Court. Whatever happens, we're extremely grateful that we got to join this fight. We still believe that the only way to stop a bully like Trump is to stand up to him. If we can inspire just one more person or organization to do the same, then we've already won. By the way, we did finally hear from Senator Klobuchar's office. We offered to put together a press conference with her team and other local businesses affected by tariffs. In return, we asked her to reiterate her past statements in support of transgender rights. We haven't heard back since. We'll continue to keep you updated!
