Borrowing books to read was one of my favourite aspects of my (early) school years. I remember loaning out books and reading them with my grandma so we could talk about them afterwards.

Went to the local discount store for trash bags, socks, and cleaning products.

Came home with the sweetest Christmas village. Super inexpensive, hyper kitschy, but I am *in love* with it. It will stay on the dvd shelf while the tree's up.

It's been over two years since I've picked up a pen to draw, so...yeah. I miss it, but right now my health won't allow for it.

Beyond the ethical and quality concerns, why would you want to cut voice actors out of your process? They’re the hot people with media training and a camera presence. You need a Laura Bailey or Neil Newbon out there to do panels or it’s just a bunch of sweaty devs in t shirts and blazers

now dealing with some kind of infection. She's doing much better so I suspect she will be coming home this week but I nearly screamed at a doctor for them to even keep her there. They wanted to send her home with a high fever and unable to stand on her own and I was like "absolutely not!".

Yeah so my leg's been hurting for about a month now. Been to the ER for it where they did an ultrasound for thrombosis but found nothing then sent me home with opioids. I have a referral for a CT scan that I sent in but it takes ages for them to get back to me.

Mum's been in hospital for a week +

I'm sorry for my absence here lately. My mother's still in hospital, I am in pain and waiting for an appointment for a CT scan, and between all of that I simply don't really have the mental capacity for social media.

I will try to get back on track though!

I don't like being on opioids. They do have their merits if taken safely and with care, but they scare the living daylights out of me.

Mind you, wen I say "hurty leg" - I'm on opioids for the time being because no other pain med will help. And I'll probably run out of meds before I even get an appointment, so...

We suspect a problem with one of the nerves.

So mum's in hospital again (went in yesterday and I had to yell at a doctor for her to even keep her despite her being to weak to even stand), it can take up to two weeks to get an appointment to get my hurty leg looked after, and today our washer broke.

How's your week so far?

Finances will be *rough* if I have to stay but at this point I don't even care. As long as they can somehow help me.

What's the worst that can happen -that they send me home again? That they keep me there? I don't even know, I just want the pain to stop.
