The Red Corsairs stuff is pre-ordered, which means I've got two weeks to finish two of the Tarantula missile thingies, a Sicaran and a ten man squad with bolters and chain bayonets. Methinks this is a bit of a tall order.

Yep, it's a shame they stopped crediting folks. I miss that personal touch. It kind of added to the hobby for me and made it seem just a little bit less faceless and corporate.

I once made about half a dozen ruined buildings, from the polystyrene trays that used to come in the Dreadnought boxes and such. That was based on an article in WD. I really miss that sort of thing.

I think I might have got him on the front of an issue of White Dwarf years ago, then never got around to painting him. A fate shared by too many of my miniatures.

It looks really good. A bad time for me to be without Now TV.

I never played the others, but I did play Bust A Move 2 more than I probably should have.

Watch out for the stealth toffee.

I realise I'm likely being overly optimistic and giving GW too much credit, but I'm hoping they release new firstborn kits, since they will surely struggle to justify more new Primaris stuff. I'm sure they'd be popular, and GW does like money.

I signed up here ages ago, but never posted much, I reckon I might stick around this time though, it seems nicer than Twitter.

I'll still hang around there because there's still a bit of decent hobby content slopping around in the Twitter cesspit, but there's certainly more hobby goodness here.

Finally hung up my little closed sign on twitter.
It took me a while. I kept thinking that some external pressure would force it to bring back decent moderation, or it would lose enough money that musk would sell... sigh.
Oh well. Time to make this my main hobby post playground!

I've still got one foot in there for the time being, but most of the hobby community seems to be here now.

My Twitter feed is increasingly full of right-wing stuff, AI-generated rubbish, bots, and videos of some very violent stuff. No matter how much I block, there's always more.

I remember using that building.

Some of my bigger games back then were still Floorhammer, so I can't remember if the dog ate it, or if a careless foot crushed it.

The amount of time I've been painting and that's never occurred to me.

That model you've just finished painting is better than you think it is.

He needs a nice sturdy wall to stand behind, so he can make full use of his bendy telescope, periscope thingy.
