I went to London for work on Monday. My hotel room was a box, an underground box. Had zero signal when I was in there and the choice of TV channels left a lot to be desired.

Fortunately, I had plenty of reading material. Anyhoo, enjoy some pictures from a piss poor photographer.

I'm worldbuilding at the moment. So I'm pulling together things I've noted down all over the place and trying to cobble something cohesive together. Hadn't realised how much I've scribbled down in random places over the years.

Booked a few days away in Manchester in August. It'll be the first time I've spent away from home for anything other than work for a while. Got a few things in mind to see while I'm there. But I'd appreciate any suggestions.

I'm spending no shortage of time gathering all my notes, scribbles and things I've typed together to allow me to build a cohesive world that makes sense. It's only as I do this that I realise just how disordered my efforts have been.

Not gonna lie, I'm finding this whole outlining thing a bit odd at the moment.

I'm usually a fly by the seat of my pants sort of guy. That has led to some costly mistakes in terms of time though. So, I really need to keep my focus here.

I finally managed to pick up Helga on Made to Order. It made me so happy. Can't quite figure out how I picked up Drong without Helga, mind you. 🤔

I've been having some bother sleeping this last week, spent a lot of time tossing and turning. So, I'm pushing bedtime out as far as possible tonight in the hope I'll sleep when I do go.

With that, I'm using the time to outline the first of my short stories.
