My NBA tanking fix:

-Bottom 16 teams enter a tournament
-Eliminated teams are placed on a jury to vote on top 3 pick order
-At Final 4, all teams compete in a puzzle. Winner picks one other team to debate in front of jury
-3rd/4th enter firemaking contest for last debate spot

It's nothing new that team owners think they should be able to do whatever they want.

A lot to like, but my favorites might be the Queen/Trey lobs. They run this awesome action with Queen pulling the big out & the threat of Trey's shot makes an easy back cut for a lob.

I think the erroneous thinking almost certainly comes from the fact that it’s easier to spot the jump shooting variance that was already there (remember, NBA teams take basically the same proportion of shots as jumpers now as they did 25 years ago) because of how 3s are separated in the box score.
