SHOCKING FEDERAL COURT MOMENT: DOJ attorney Julie Le, "The system sucks, this job sucks" to Judge Jerry Blackwell who pressed her on why so many court orders are being ignored by ICE/Trump admin. She asked to be held in contempt just so she could get 24 hours of sleep. @FOX9

Judge Blackwell had ordered the SHOW CAUSE hearing because he was frustrated that in 5 Habeas cases he was presiding over, he felt his orders were being ignored, leaving immigrant detainees unconstitutionally locked up for days. Ms. Le said that govt lawyers just cannot keep up.

I have confirmed the gist of this report out of federal court in Minnesota today from a source familiar.
If you have more information about the District of Minnesota—either the court or the U.S. Attorney's Office—and how they are handling all of this, please reach out. I am at crg.32 on Signal.

It is actually important that we figure out how to put the energy of these guys to use for our purposes while also minimizing the harm they can do to us. It’s something most major campaigns and organizers have to deal with. “Front towards enemy” energy should be handled strategically.

Geographical density and legal regime. Leash laws mean dogs poop where humans walk. New York is a dense place with more people and dogs in a confined space.

A record number of people are in immigration jail AND most of these detentions are probably illegal. I think a good demand is to end immigration jail. If there is nowhere to jail people, they will be forced to arrest fewer people. This scheme is working bc of warehouses full of humans.

I keep thinking about domination as attitudinal, as will to “power over”, as a relational modality of which Epstein seemed to be an extreme articulation on every successively uncovered front. Hard to get robust critical and empirical purchase on that kind of thing, so not sure how to analyze it…

Kristi Noem has a First Amendment right to call immigrants killers, leeches, entitlement junkies, and any other inapt name she wants. /SECRETARY/ Noem, however, is constrained by both our Constitution and the APA to apply faithfully the facts to the law in implementing the TPS program.

I don’t think I can say this forcefully enough: hundreds of thousands of Haitians will lose status tomorrow with racist ending of their TPS & are spending today refreshing their feeds for a court order that could literally save thier lives.
This is nothing short of psychosocial torture.

In many of the first generation of modern concentration camp systems (near the turn of the twentieth century), the vast majority of deaths were caused by disease and malnutrition. Most of the victims were women and children.

It is worth reading Graff's 50 indictment. It has a lot of important information.
It's also important to note that there have been many independent scholars and journalists publishing damning indictments of Border Patrol for decades. www.theborderchronicle.com/border-patro...

Fascism arises from material conditions of militarized, alienated deprivation, as it always has. We’ve always known this, and to see it unfold again here over the past few decades has been crazy-making, with additional tragic dimensions due to its familiarity…

Hours after I first posted this article, I was told that several VA nurses who are members of AFGE will attend the union’s annual legislative conference in Washington next week to raise the issue of kicking the National Border Patrol Council out of AFGE and the AFL-CIO. I hope they succeed.

Please CHRIST look at the UK; Starmer’s Labour didn’t win the last election; the Conservatives lost it. The thing to do is to *BURN AWAY* Schumer, Jeffries et al through direct action, protests, primaries. You and I are in charge (sorry! but also: congrats!) Catch up with us, Dems, or be retired.
