I hate prosecutors, and it might be fun to watch these assholes who can’t even get through basic criminal procedure try to litigate in front of federal judges. The part of Jack Smith that isn’t scared is probably laughing his ass off.

This US Attorney’s Office (USAO) is already shredded from the whiplash of Trump I, J6 prosecutions, right wing backlash and then Trump II and the prior nomination (and subsequent withdrawal) of Ed Martin.

I think their capacity to fulfill basic prosecutorial functions was already shaky, at best.

Note that the US Attorney’s office prosecutes most felonies and misdemeanors in DC. They do a lot if the work normally done by local prosecutors in other US jurisdictions. Criminal court in DC is gonna get wild.

Using bulldozers and heavy machinery, the Israeli army destroyed the storage warehouses and infrastructure where essential equipment, seed materials, and tools for indigenous seed reproduction were kept. This is not just an attack on a building-its an attack on Palestinian food sovereignty, biodiversity and cultural memory.

Israel destroyed a Palestinian seed bank today. This is such a specific kind of evil, targeting literal hope for the future. Attempting to further alienate Palestinians from their home and land. So much destroyed just for the sake of destroying. It's awful.
