i got the distinct impression while in the dream that this was a diagnostic test from my brain to make sure the emotion was working correctly. it was just a test from my brain for funsies. thanks a lot asshole

had a dream where my emotions were all dials on a wall and a hand reached out and turned all the way to 100% on the one labeled "dread". I proceeded to feel like I was in imminent, mortal peril in a way I've never experienced. and then they turned it back down to normal.
