more chill glitch drums for modular synth. sounds simple but maybe the most complex patch i ever made. cycling thru simple drum breaks w/ sequencer + probability based clock synced repeats = glitch. all in synth in one take no DAW. i try to get tons of stereo separation in all the different parts.

Ain't no one looking it up sure. except DHS/ICE get to monitor my social media for 'provocative' or 'antisemitic' posts.

recorded a few midwest emo style guitar loops and heavily processed them to make very lo-fi ambient trap-y stuff in the modular synth because why not.

for aesthetic reasons i only have pink cables. but when they're all one one colour its pretty hard to find out what's connected to what...

were you there for this? like most of us I joined Eorzea far later and wonder what this impending doom must have felt like for players pre-calamity.

I dont know if it sounds gatekeepy of me but it feels like the difference between learning to become a musician first, or just getting a FL tutorial and learning to 'make beats'

You know guitar to midi is really good nowadays if you want to use your guitar skills to get those notes onto the piano roll on your DAW

if it was my first synth, I'd get something more... Regular. If I had to chose for me today, probably the wasp. Or just the wasp filter alone that Doepfer makes.

ALM yes. Like with Pams. 'Ooh, no it has a screen on it, not screens! that's menu-diving ooh ahh!' is what i read from modular ppl semi-often. And yet it has the most straightforward interface of any module I've ever used, given how powerful it is at least.

I had a look at how their rene sequencer worked and got something else intstead. anything i have to get the manual out for because i haven't used it for a week and forgotten everything, isn't going to be fun for me.
