Payrolls grew a relatively uninteresting (and positive!) +177k in April, and unemployment was unchanged at 4.2%.

This economy is still humming along.

NOTE: This is a reading largely from the pre-tariff period. Still very foggy about what lies ahead.

If you know anything about how the newsroom of a major credible publication like the WSJ works. you know that the story about Tesla’s board exploring replacing Musk doesn’t see the light of day without 100% credible and backup sourcing. That can only mean one thing about Tesla’s and Musk’s denial.

Well, look at that... the indices just turned green. 🙄 FML.

Remarkable how Trump dealt himself the worst possible hand to negotiate w/ China.

1st card: Enacted tariffs that threaten to tank the economy
2nd: Backs China into a corner.
3rd: Makes fed incapable of responding
4th: Tanks markets, bonds and the dollar
5th: no end game, no plan

Can't wait for whatever Vlad has on Trump to come out.....
