tbh i've never met one of those "good on everything except palestine" people. if you talk to them long enough they're almost always racist, transphobic and shitty to sex workers too

instead i hear secondhand rumors about people feeling anxiety and grief... about their careers; about preserving professional relationships with accomplices to some of the most obscene crimes against humanity one can imagine, let alone have seen.

i wish any of the world's leaders had any sense of urgency, or moral clarity, or anything to motivate stopping the holocaust of palestine.

i wish many of my former colleagues in HCI felt any connection to humanity over the last 2 years witnessing the most thoroughly documented genocide in history.

i'll take netanyahu's conviction and hanging; but if this fantasy gets in the way of stopping israel's genocide of palestine for even a single day - another day of israel killing 100+ palestinians looking for food, medicine, shelter - then this seems like an unnecessary, selfish, violent indulgence.

what does hanging netanyahu or any of these other "exceptional" figures do about the snipers who target children, or about the casualness with which IOF soldiers kill donkeys, cats, dogs, etc... because "killing all its inhabitants" is a religious imperative that they've been taught since childhood?

i'm not even talking about 80% of israelis endorsing the ethnic cleansing of gaza; close to half of surveyed israelis fully endorse the implementation of old testament genocide upon "an enemy city", and are determined to kill every inhabitant therein. this is not a society compatible with life.
