A lot of major news outlets seem to have forgotten that they’re in a landscape where traditional media is dying out and readers have zero reason to engage with them if they aren’t genuine with us.
If these papers won’t report “without fear or favour” then readers won’t see any value in them.

I saw him say that a couple of days ago. But I’m not aware of any that actually *exist* outside his imagination.

Israel is still bombing schools and hospitals in Gaza with American munitions. Russia is still killing people in Ukraine. Nobody has signed any deals AT ALL.

As president of me and part director of my house, I hereby decrees that the property at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is now known as “Poopy House” in honour of its residents. Any media outlets that don’t refer to it as such are not invited to my barbecue next weekend.

Imagine if Kamala Harris had won and had her billionaire boyfriend and his kid with her while she tried to overthrow democracy. Or if Obama or Hilary did any of this. The press would tear them to shreds.

Trump is the definition of having a lifetime of free passes and no consequences.

That’s the idiocy of opposing universal health. They act like the money spent disappears, when it actually goes to doctors, nurses, administrators, builders, suppliers, Etc. It costs a country more money to let people die than it does to provide proper healthcare.

Dangerous is the wrong word for something that already is a disaster. Its like pointing to the flaming ruins of a building as a bunch of meth addicts rip the copper out of the walls and saying “hmm, that looks a bit like it could eventually be a problem”.

I wake up in the morning. I sit at my computer. The internet screams at me that the world is on fire. I am overwhelmed by the deluge of bad news and faceplant in front of the computer.
