Had a fantastic virtual school visit with my dear friend’s son’s third grade class! They all had received copies of Wayward Creatures and many had read the book—they had great questions! I love getting to chat with readers!

I had a fantastic time visiting with students in Ms. Steele’s Ornithology class at the Meadowlark School in Erie, CO today! We talked about Of a Feather, writing from an owl’s point of view, and all the research I did to write the book! 🦉
