I don't typically single out bad accounts, but this "science girl" was notorious on twitter for never crediting content, often with erroneous caption, and blocking people who point out the errors.

Even if you're not using my block list, please don't let this account take off.

The first thing to do is check on your people. Reach out to someone you havenโ€™t heard from. They may need it. We have to recommit to caring for each other however we can. Iโ€™m spending some time reevaluating my priorities and how best to ground myself to face whatโ€™s next. I hope you can do the same.

Whether itโ€™s hope or anger or spite or a dream, use it to live. Live and letโ€™s keep finding each other. We are not the first to face this, and we are not alone. We can hold that certainty together, choose it, even when all else feels unknown.

Iโ€™m here. And Iโ€™m glad Iโ€™m with you.

Two fields of text.
First field:
Do Not Say
โ€œIt Will Be Okay.โ€
The results of this election will not be okay for pregnant women, for LGBTQ people, for the immigrants among us.

Trump and his advisors do not show concern for the rule of law, for science, for freedoms here and abroad, and for the future livability of this planet.

Trumpโ€™s economic plans are apt to have dire consequences, with the elimination of millions of consumers and workers from this country.

Second field:
Do Say
โ€œI Will Help.โ€
There will be plenty of opportunities to help people on a personal level (there always are.)

Do not given in to the national sentiment at the local level. You have more power locally. Some states will also continue to not conform for as long as they are able.

Do not fall in to hopelessness.
The future is not set. Damage will happen, but other nations have found paths to restoration, and we can too.

Well, I guess I'd better make a proper start on this place. As I said in my first post (a whole year ago, apparently!), I run a palaeontology blog. I've been inactive for a few reasons, but hopefully, I'll be kicking it back into gear soon. I'm HOPING to be more active here than I was on Twitter.

Just published a new blog post (nowhere near as long this time!) about the few spinosaurids that don't fit neatly into either of the main subfamilies.

Merry Christmas! To celebrate the occasion, I've finally put out a new blog post. This one's the start of a new series focused on spinosaurids. Not particularly Christmassy, but I've wanted to write about them for a while now.

Yup. Not sure how greater-spotted eagles do it (not that familiar with the species), but that's definitely an osprey thing.

Head shape and markings are very osprey-like, so I'm more inclined towards that ID.

Extinct and Extant Life on Earth Extinct and Extant Life on Earth - A blog focusing on palaeontology, extant life, (occasionally) speculative evolution and cryptozoology.

In the name of actually making my first post, hi! I'm an amateur palaeoartist who runs a palaeontology blog. Haven't posted anything for a long while, but I'm hoping to get back into it very soon. Got a few posts in the works (my profile picture's for one of them!).
