QB awareness and instincts not developing after their few years is nonsense. I think he grew with his stops in SF and MIN. Only one way to find out. And this offense can definitely be better. That'll come with an improved run game.

Not sure how you can say Darnold is done developing when you just saw what Geno did after being on the bench for years.

If the o-line goes from being ranked bottom 3 to just in the 20-26 range, I wouldn't be shocked if they score more points than last year.

Geno had 3 consecutive seasons that would make him a top 10-15ish QB. But he regressed last year, mainly with the decision making.

If Darnold plays anywhere near how he did last year, this offense is on par with last years with him and a healthy Kupp.

Factor in the defense, 9 wins is our floor.

I’m thinking of studs on their first contract that we likely wouldn’t improve on with a late 1st rd pick. That’s all I could come up with.

Fraley was at the top of my wish list at first. The more I think about it, I’m not sure I’m wanting to bet on an o-line coach being a successful play-caller/designer. At least not in his first few years.

I won’t hate it if he is the choice, but maybe Kubiak or Udinski are better picks right now?
