I am sure though that having an incredibly sore throat a few weeks back was, at some subconscious level, a seed for this painting.

Hello, my name is Alejandro and I mostly do dark art based around dreams and nightmares, as well as mental health subjects (namely my ADHD and Bipolar t2)

So wish they had figured BD out earlier 😓I was misdiagnosed for almost my entire life, only recently did it change to BD2+ADHD after decades of the wrong meds and therapy. I wonder how much of it was dr-based stigma against some of these disorders. Or maybe I just suck at explaining myself lol

This piece explores the feeling of losing one’s sense of identity, of the quiet (but sometimes sharp) ache of absence, the yearning for a part of the self that feels missing, no matter how desperately I try to reclaim it.
