Went to bed with a migraine, took 2 aspirin at 4am when the 2-year-old woke me, woke up for work still in nearly-unbearable pain, and only after 2 hours of work and parenting has the pain relief, cold flannel, bites of dry crackers, and the coffee kicked in.

'Bout 90% sure it's hormonal. :/

Where did this humidity suddenly come from? The rest of the week, it felt colder.

I'm almost ready to hit the trenches again with my newest MS, though. It must be two books ago that we met? I've definitely been through another MS since then and seen the state of the trenches recently :/

I'm alright, thank you. I've had a lot of job stress this year and considering a career move - ironically into a more stressful field, but it's something I can contribute better to - so I haven't achieved as much writing.

Earworms of pop music: 'I heard it on the radio' has been replaced by 'I heard it via TikTok' and I don't know whether to cry or wonder at the technological evolution.
