We've all seen a lot of chat about how Gyökeres doesn't score headers, so I wondered if you might have any stats on the number and possibly the quality of crosses received mate?

I'm a non-sporting analyst, but always assumed he must have received fewer in Portugal, than the average PL forward.

Without knowing the number of crosses he received, I still believe this to be a statistical anomaly...if the ball is played on the floor, you are a lot less likely to head it, surely?!

How many quality crosses did he receive in that time? You don't score headers if the ball is on the deck

When I read that I thought, how many quality crosses did he receive in a slower more technical league, where the ball doesn't leave the ground much, great movement to get in front and a quality header to finish!

Great movement for the header, a really good finish and all those who said he doesn't score many headers, should perhaps consider how many quality crosses he received...you can't score many headers if the ball is on the deck

I must admit when I read about Gyökeres not scoring many headers in Portugal, my initial reaction was that they probably keep the ball on the ground more and don't whip in many crosses. Judging by his header today, I am sticking to my guns on this...great movement and a great header!

Great to see things finally starting to click properly, Big Vik off the mark, closely followed by great combination play between Martinelli and Saka for B to slot home.

Yep, the cream of the top has risen to the top on several occasions now and I fully expect Dowman to take his bow this season, even though he's only a few months older than my daughter who is doing her GCSEs, which I think flies in the face of all of the naysayers!

Let's face it, Saka has had very similar treatment over the last couple of years

I've just seen the cropped version and wish they used that collar on the actual kit

I like the colours, but I'm not keen on the collar, it looks uncomfortably large and I always prefer more of a classic crew neck anyway

I think this is why most of us wanted a striker AND a creative midfielder/wide player, but also we need to let the handbrake off a bit, especially early doors, like we have when we have blitzed teams

Why? Responsible parenting and talking to your kids would be hugely preferable, but I acknowledge that would require collective effort and let's face it, most people are lazy or they would already manage their kids devices, negating the need for discussions like this

Yep, it's a weird one, plenty of tech out there already, if parents want to parent, which should not be the job of the state IMHO. I use Google family to manage my kids devices, it literally comes free with every Android phone, if people enable it! I can manage screen time, sites and apps from there

Ridiculous, pointless and unnecessary! All teams will have an air of falseness in whatever they film. Also please don't allow cameramen to join in with celebrations, they don't wear studs, have heavy equipment strapped to their sides & they or a player will get injured! Why only object when losing?
