Haven't read it in years but it's very good! I remember being impressed by the action scenes, they're not something most people would associate with Clowes but in Patience they're vivid and dizzying in a way that feels very deliberate, building on the stuff he was doing in The Death-Ray

it depends but usually boxes, they look neater and I think they make the reader feel more closely aligned with the character
