Someone usually posts up what the lands look like in play, so check here if you want to get a look before purchasing any—I seem to recall that, as unusual as these may look at first, a couple of them actually look pretty nice in play, but we’ll have to wait and/or see.

One path out, or at least a straw to help break the camel’s back, is a unified cultural front to make any use of this technology feel tacky, sad, and socially repulsive, like how smoking has become so stigmatized. But vexingly, those who have to feel this are people not enmeshed or invested in art.

I’ve heard an analyst say they could carry on like this for ~10 years, or that they may be gearing up for a simultaneous war w/NATO—this simply can’t be, right? At this rate aren’t they overspent facing UKR alone? I can‘t wrap my head around how this is sustainable long-term, let alone expandable.

I was trying to figure out why these Snap vids are so comforting and I think it’s cuz I associate this in particular w/December, oddly enough, cuz we’d basically only get new games in December, so it must hit that subconscious joy of winter break, marathoning, & hunting for rumored Easter eggs, etc.

It occurs to me she could play her in the movie of this era. Although I guess someone already did play her in “Game Change,” but we don’t live in the past, we live in the MS NOW(!).

From the practical tech & useless-feature sense, to the niche sense I take it (the mass influx of Universes Beyond in Magic: The Gathering), this is going to be *the* year for people who embrace the stuff or who’ve hit their limit; it’s undeniably present in one’s day-to-day, whatever interest/task.

So many fond memories of Mindlink Mech decks—I still have a couple kicking around. It has a pretty sweet a Neon alt-art, though, so you might just prefer that, though cloning with a depth style version should make a depthed re-skin, too, which is a neat aesthetic plus to this version over the Neon.

Good to see Boss Nass staying on the cutting edge of leadership.

And this “December,” which hosts the Christmas holiday—it will be the only month such decorations befitting this holiday will be up?

Ah, Fear was one of my absolute favorite mechanics & this guy could really churn it out back when I was finally starting to play & experience new sets regularly, thanks to FNM. Definitely a special card to me, particularly cuz I won my very first FNM with Fear, though it was from Nezumi Cutthroats.

There must be more of a push to state plainly that there shall be investigations & prosecutions of these people if Ds get majorities in the midterms & beyond. And there must be a clear-eyed rejection of any crocodile-tear-soaked R whines of “retribution” or “pettiness” from these very perpetrators.

This art, more than just about any but the most macabre black cards, has always creeped me out—something about the foreground guy’s disturbing smile/jaw and the sickly overall color scheme.
