As someone who worked my tail off to the point of illness and was basically met with a shrug when I decided to leave, it’s really annoying to see a higher up from my previous job make comments online about how too many people talk about burnout when they should talk about perseverance instead.

I was hoping to spend Thanksgiving there but this storm is dropping several inches in IL and I wouldn’t have gotten home. That being said, I was there for Tuesday’s storm. 😁

It’s mostly going well. I am feeling better and can already move around but I can’t lift anything over 8 lbs until Christmas. Also got put on antibiotics because one of my incisions looks infected but starting to look better.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We saw my family last week but came home early because of bad weather. Also, I yeeted my gallbladder.
