Just finished watching Leonard and Hungry Paul on #BBCiPlayer a really lovely Irish short series based on the novel of the same name. It’s gentle, it’s not fast paced and bonkers like a lot of TV shows right. It’s funny, loving, caring and just a bit thought provoking. Worth watching!

Every day is a new day and, a new chance. Sure, sounds like a cliche, maybe it is but, I keep striving and going and tiniest brick by brick trying to build back my bravery. I miss that but I was cocky with it, and that wasn’t always great. 5/6

The good news? I have terrific friends, a loving family (even when they’re on my last nerve!), a job I do actually like, I love to podcast even if our listeners are in the low numbers, it’s not why I do it, I do it ‘cause I love it and the friends I do it with. 4/6

I feel scared more now than I have. Fearful to take a leap at something, fearful not to just bloody write something. I find excuses for it all, I’m pretty sure burnout is also a big part of it too. 3/6

Just in a way that I’m still feeling low or lost or not accomplishing or achieving what I should. Family stuff is a big part of it, so is my career. Even some hobbies. You know, I used to feel brave and I don’t feel that way as much now 2/6

It’s World Mental Health Day and there may only be a couple of hours of this day left but, mental health is every day.

Kicking off Autumn movies with The Big Chill. A superb film, highly recommend if you haven’t seen it.

I’m in the mood for a classic movie today and I can’t decide which. A Star is Born (1954), Johnny Guitar, Dracula’s Daughter, Cat People? Or something else entirely? Horror? Drama? RomCom? Big Chill? Doctor Sleep? St. Elmo’s Fire?! So many choices and no brain power to make them 😂

The concert was short so I’m watching the Once Upon a Studio short, again. Which as always, when Mickey sees the portrait of Walt makes my eyes glisten and then they all sing When You Wish Upon a Star and… yeah… it’s a damned fine short.

Am I snuggled under a soft blanket with my pup curled up beside me and watching the Disney Princess Concert on Disney+ gently smiling throughout? Yes. Yes I am.
