I know moving isn’t always an option, but there are states who value their educators.

We started losing E-5 to E-7s at higher rates instead of retaining them for the 20. I have mixed feelings on it. I like the old system, but it seems to have offered people an alternative option as opposed to the 20-or-nothing system we served under.

Retired Air Force here. Ours went to what they call a BRS - Blended Retirement System. Instead of our 50% pension, they get 40% after 20yrs (2% instead of 2.5/yr) with that TSP.
Before they did that, it was incredibly rare to see someone at 10+ years step away. Not anymore.

We need justice and accountability. That starts with independent investigations into the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, economic restitution for businesses impacted, abolishing ICE, and the impeachment of Kristi Noem.

There were over 100 reported ICE observations/encounters in TC yesterday. There’s already been 14 today and it’s not even noon. That’s just TC - not all of MN.
