Chemical characterisation of small substructures in the local stellar halo The local stellar halo of the Milky Way is known to contain the debris from accreted dwarf galaxies and globular clusters, in the form of stellar streams and over-densities in the space of orbital pro...

Unevolved Li-rich stars at low metallicity: a possible formation pathway through novae A small fraction of low-mass stars have been found to have anomalously high Li abundances. Although it has been suggested that mixing during the red giant branch phase can lead to Li production, this ...

I'm very excited to share our new work! arxiv.org/abs/2502.18552 , in which we discussed abundance patterns of some unevolved Li-rich stars with low metallicity. We discussed their possible formation paths, including pollution from AGB stars and nova.

Paper now published! ๐ŸŽ‰ There are two fun new figures, showing how carbon-enhanced stars are offset from normal stars in the CMD (not a new result, but neat to see with this data) โœจ academic.oup.com/mnras/articl...

Sadly, I left Kapteyn Institute last week. It was a wonderful 3.5 years, even though the beginning was a bit unusual time. I learned so many things through lively discussions that happen almost every day. I will definitely miss them!

Gaia's brightest very metal-poor (VMP) stars: A metallicity... Context. Gaia DR3 has offered the scientific community a remarkable dataset of approximately one million spectra acquired with the Radial Velocity Spectrometer (RVS) in the Calcium II triplet...

Very happy to share my new paper on arxiv: arxiv.org/abs/2309.06137 releasing a catalogue of spectroscopic metallicities of VMP stars using the amazing Gaia DR3 RVS spectra. Did you know that there exists a lot of archival VMP spectra out there with no published parameters?
