Like, it used to just be stock responses like 'Thank you' or 'You're welcome', which is fine, I guess. It saves a couple of seconds on something you were going to write anyway.

But these more elaborate replies. Bad. Awful. Hate them. Stop surrendering your thinking to a computer.

Which I think ties into the whole reason a lot of people like talking to AIs. They are not made to challenge you, they're made to fulfill your every whim, to be servile.

And I don't appreciate YouTube trying to place that kind of relationship with random fuckhead #227 onto me. It's gross.

(to be clear, this has been true since i was a kid in the '80s. i was admittedly a weird child but it was obvious watching kids cartoons that Girl Toys Were Not Supposed To Be For Me that i literally held by breath when ads for them came on)
