GenAI and LLMs have many negative consequences for our society and environment. It's created unethically both in gathering data and testing. Not hard to find some articles on it.

Someone spilled water on the board so the owner attempted to quickly save it but also threw it on his sofa in a fit of rage. The throw and the water damage however made the board split in half. We were doing set up.

The biggest risk in this moment is something sociologists call “symbolic compliance.”

That’s when an institution that is violating civil rights gives the public just enough symbolic victories that accountability efforts lose steam before there has been any meaningful change.
