Not enough time, energy or space to give you a full rundown of why genAI use is bad. But your picture looks AI generated. GenAI and LLMs have many negative consequences for our society and environment. It's created unethically both in gathering data and testing. Not hard to find some articles on it.

Israel used weapons in Gaza that made thousands of Palestinians evaporate US-made thermal weapons burning at 3,500C caused 2,842 people to "evaporate" in Gaza, Al Jazeera investigation finds.

“Four of my children just evaporated,” Badran said, holding back tears. “I looked for them a million times. Not a piece was left. Where did they go?”

There are no words to adequately describe the evil here.

people who say that all creative endeavor can be replaced with AI probably need to reckon with the fact that all televised sports events with human athletes could easily be replicated by high-definition computer-animated simulations….and yet we don’t do this and no one seems to want to.

Democratizing the arts looks like universal income, low-barrier grants for both emerging and working artists, well-funded municipal arts & recreation programs, vibrant third spaces, and a well-funded public school system with progressive curriculum.

Not a free pass for corporate-owned slop engines.

Waterfallpark is a great game but some friends are really hard to negotiate with. Btw dude ya shouldn't be used AI art! Use of genAI is very harmful to our society in many ways, regardless of your intent of use. There is truly no need.

Someone spilled water on the board so the owner attempted to quickly save it but also threw it on his sofa in a fit of rage. The throw and the water damage however made the board split in half. We were doing set up.

This is exactly the type of stuff people mean when they say "everything is political". This is exactly why, and why it's such a privilege to not have to worry about this shit.

the president of the united states should not be allowed to personally loot the treasury to the sum of ten billion dollars and that this is not resulting in immediate, unanimous impeachment is a dramatic indictment of what has become of our political system

A list of Canadian companies profiting off of ICE and Trump's violent mass deportation regime Watch now | Several Canadian companies appear to be pocketing profits as this horrific agenda rolls out.

Canadians! If you're looking for ways to aid the resistance efforts of Americans, @rachelgilmore.bsky.social compiled a resource of Canadian companies with ICE contracts. These are excellent targets for local resistance with international effects!

The biggest risk in this moment is something sociologists call “symbolic compliance.”

That’s when an institution that is violating civil rights gives the public just enough symbolic victories that accountability efforts lose steam before there has been any meaningful change.

I agree that the occupation of MN is different in scale than the brutality we've seen before, but the biggest difference is just that they're treating white people, white neighborhoods, with the impunity they've always shown towards black and brown ones.

They're just saying "no lives matter."

Remarkable how quietly everyone in this industry excuses Terraforming Mars. Even in offline spaces, people get very uncomfortable if anyone brings up the horrible things people behind this game have said.

Microsoft Microsoft is perhaps the most complicit tech company in Israel’s illegal apartheid regime and ongoing genocide against 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza.

Sounds like there are some cool games at the Xbox showcase?

Too bad that Microsoft is one of the most harmful companies on the planet, and according to the BDS boycott campaign, "the most complicit tech company in Israel’s illegal apartheid regime and ongoing genocide"
