If you haven't read this, take the time to do so! She's one of my favorite all time writers.
This book is especially good for the dystopia we're walking into politically and environmentally.

The Handmaid's Tale is a good book. But did you know that there's a book written by a Black woman about a post-apocalyptic Earth heavily affected by climate change and societal decline. The book was published in 1993, but is set in 2024 following a presidential election πŸ‘€ #BookSky #BlackBookSky

I can’t think of a single dystopian novel or movie that imagined our government filled not with aliens but ignorant conspiracy theorists, Russian assets, sex criminals and grifters.
