It is a disgrace, and a disgusting stain on the government and media of this country.
Scares me when I see just how much information and photos some people post on social media about their kids. It's not private even if you think it is.
I'm glad they made this advert, let's hope people actually pay attention.
Just cycled through this down the quays to Connolly. I wouldn’t like to be on anymore than two wheels in town right now. Gridlocked. And considering they’re all beeping all the time, very loud. #Spéirgorm

This is criminal.
It's easy to add this to the long list of gov failures, but when taken in isolation, each one is a scandal & in unison, a catastrophe.
And yet people keep voting FFG
FFG can't & won't fix it

This thread from @feljin.ie is just depressing. We’re used to a lack of imagination but this wouldn’t even have been imaginative! @seontrack.bsky.social

26.11.2025 19:11 — 👍 10 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Four months after it was promised, we finally have the government's transport investment plan between now and 2030. It's bad. Roads are in, public transport is out. A lot of public transport projects being put on the long-finger to make funding available for new roads.

In order to find out what was going on with the service, the LUAS expected thousands of affected passengers to check their X account. It's ridiculous, enraging, and at this stage totally unacceptable

25.11.2025 23:04 — 👍 29 🔁 2 💬 0 📌 0Very sad to hear Margaretta D'Arcy has died.
Besides her relentless anti-war activism, her book on the women protesting in Armagh Prison, Tell Them Everything, is such an important piece of writing.
She was also key to springing Kate Millett from institutional confinement in Clare in 1980.
As per the next re-post I'm going to share after this, they might not all be US/US-based but rather English language troll farm / bot accounts being to target Ireland. I've seen some hints of this on FB comments too...

Andrew Jackson did. Thoroughly.
If you spent time reading the original, you'd want to give time to this counterpoint as well.

Investors are reducing their taxable profits before the end of the tax year with big one-off purchases while universities cut their humanities faculties and artists earn less than minimum wage.
An incredibly stupid decision if it comes to pass. And a big disappointment for the cafes.

It's so encouraging to get a full house for this event. It's also the first time local councillors and TDs have attended one of our public events. The conversation is detailed, respectful, and engaged. We need an evidence-based strategy to #SaveLadysIslandLake
