Was listening to Vivek Chibber's podcast about the promises and failures of populism. He makes some great points. As leftists we need to be interjecting economic language into discussions. It's really not enough to say "oligarchs bad." Remember they've been waging class war. Call it like it is.

We have enough food to feed everyone, but we have a serious problem with wealth inequality.

We must stop viewing those who are disabled and/or poor as moral failures and start recognizing the system is rigged against us.

But we're even more disorganized than the right. In order for anything to be worth violent fighting, we'd need to have a unified idea of what to replace this rot with if we did manage to overthrow it. I'm sure not risking my neck to seat a democrat.
