They taught me that simply existing is how they resist.
Palestinian joy is their resistance.
Palestinian food, culture, and history is their resistance.
They resist through hope.
I have witnessed their lives and the oppression they face daily. I observed their fight to secure their basic human rights. As they strive to improve their exiled communities. While they struggle to put food on the table, obtain legal employment, access basic services, and receive an education.
