Can Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone break a controversial world record long thought to be unbreakable? Mclaughlin-Levrone's performance in the 400m at the World Athletics Championships has many wondering if she can break the world record that's stood since 1985.

"Impossible."

"Unattainable."

"Otherworldly."

For decades, that's been the perception of a world record set 40 years ago at the height of East Germany's era of state-sponsored doping.

Can Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone once more redefine what's achievable? sports.yahoo.com/olympics/art...

Cinderellas are still alive in March Madness. Case in point β€” Tennessee's Chaz Lanier The Sweet 16 may be a battle of heavyweight teams, but it's full of overlooked players who began their college careers in obscurity.

This is a valid question and one I asked. What I've been told is that the rate of down transfers has declined b/c there is more NIL money available to be the 10th man at a power-conference program than a starter at a mid.

Are there exceptions? Yes. But they're mostly unusually deep-pocketed mids.

But is college basketball's changing landscape making it harder for mid-majors to compete?
