Fun news! My chapbook of poems, "School for Runaways," is going to be published by Black Lawrence Press!

This is a focused little book, set at the school for runaway and homeless youth where I worked for a number of years, and drawing also on my own experiences.

Today I graduated from immunotherapy for pollen allergies. Five years and over 100 injections! I was hoping the clinic would give me a cupcake or something

not surprising. I had to figure out an elaborate workaround to keep my kids on OHP (medicaid) when I got a slightly higher paying job or else fall off a benefits cliff
