I would say that the percentage of players coming through our academy into first team and staying there needs improving though.

Slightly disagree with this tbh. The importance of winning every week out weighs the opportunity to give your youths a chance at a club like ours. That will never change note should it. Would say in the past decade there isn’t many who have left us at 16/17/18 and proved us wrong.

The side are going through the motions though don’t you think? We miss an engine in midfield imo, petrov/armstrong type to take the ball from deep and drag us up the park. Sounds daft but our whole midfield are all technically very good but all very much the same imo.
