With 3 matches to go, Liv, New and Tot will have to buck up.

City have Real Madrid while Liv play Inter, both BIG ones. New play Leverkuesen, Che play Atalanta at 10th. Ars play Club Brugge at 26th, and Tot play Slavia at 31.

In the Europa, we have Villa, tied at the Top with 12 pts after 5 matches, and Forest are 16th with 8 pts.

Arguably Villa can focus on Arsenal without worrying about Europa, expect a full strength team.

Forest should not be too distacted either, playing Utrecht who are 32nd with only 1pt.

Now...

Palace (Conference) are currently 18th with 2 matches to go (at 6pts).

Their midweek match vs Shelbourne is a must win, to have a shot at auto qualification to the Last 16 via Top 8.

Otherwise that's an additional 2 matches for play-offs. With their stretched squad, that's NOT ideal.

Quick reminder on the Europe comps:

CL+ Europa (All except Palace): Teams placing 1-8 after 8 rmatches automatically go into Top 16, 9th to 24th go into knockout play-offs to determine the 2nd 8.

Conference (Palace) : As above, but after only 6 matches.

Good decision not to go double Pool defense. Seriously, they haven't shown enough stability to merit that.
