anyway I can't believe YOKOHAMA BJ BLUES is an underground classic and not like, a legit cult classic. it's a 1981 Japanese neo-noir about a blues singer who moonlights as a PI. he sings in it. it is crushingly good jazz. he wanders around the city miserably. it's incredible.
