Deep Research mode seems pretty helpful for obtaining checkable summaries of general trends. Doesn’t seem so good at navigating and manipulating census datasets.

I tried some simple prompts to have GPT’s new deep research mode create a csv of census tracts east of the Mississippi River sorted by population density that includes a couple other basic census variables. Got two different tables with different numbers from two slightly different prompts.
