The United States government is no longer able to protect us from real hazards, such as flash floods, because it’s shifting funds to fake hazards, such as a non-existent immigrant crime wave. www.nytimes.com/2025/07/05/u...

The people who lost children and other loved ones in the Texas floods are owed honest answers from officials. They should be told why flash flood warnings issued hours earlier were not conveyed to people in the path of the water. They don’t need more prayers from politicians. They need answers.

So, just double checking for a friend: the GOP wants everyone to be incensed and enraged about the potential for men to dress up in order to access bathrooms to perpetrate SA, but it’s self-defence for men to cosplay a paramilitary trooper and commit murder (multiple attempts, two deaths). 🤨 😠
