I’ve been organizing for many years now and I was so delighted to print this out and spend some time with it today. Highly recommend this as a resource to clarify your work and your own strategies for survival right now!

I'm not worried about saving "democracy" or the "rule of law" or even the idea of the USA. I want to save us, you, myself, my queer kin, BIPOC, friends, comrades, darlings, friends, chosen family, neighbors, a healthy earth, etc

I want living things to flourish as never before & systems to perish.

I don't think most people understand that if they've had COVID they're probably going to be hit harder by illnesses going forward. (Even aside from that, many seem to be unaware how serious flu can be.)

One thing I will say gently is, I think "mutual aid" sounds academic or theoretical to a lot of people because the US education system does not meaningfully teach Black history.

Formal mutual aid societies were an integral part of how freed/escaped enslaved people helped each other survive.

I am so sorry they didn’t have the capacity or skills to love you as you needed. Fact is, we are an in an intimacy crisis across the world. From connection to ourselves, each-other, to connection to the earth; love is not leading our choices. perfectionism, shame and profit are
