Evidence has been found of Christian worship on the site of Bradford Cathedral since Anglo-Saxon times, possibly from as early as 627 when Paulinus passed nearby on his mission north. There may also have been a wooden Norman church prior to a stone building being erected

Photo shows a wooden sculpture. It is a tall tower with a spire at the top. The different sections of it represent different religions and the style is influenced by religious architecture.
Photo shows the park with Bradford City Hall to the left. The sky is blue and clear above it. The park has trees, grass areas, benches and a path through it.
Photo taken from a bench in the park. To the right in the background is St George's Hall.
13) Today I had a quick walk around the improved Norfolk Gardens, the new #Bradford City Centre park. It was nice in the sunshine to have the greenery against the civic backdrop. Plus I got to see the @bradford2025.co.uk 'Tower of Now' sculpture by Saad Qureshi.
