O2 ABC owners say Glasgow art school 'ignored fire warning' amid redevelopment row The Glasgow School of Art is objecting to the O2 ABC owners' plans to reuse the Sauchiehall Street site. The former music venue was damaged by the fire at the art school's Mackintosh building in 2018.

Glasgow's planning committee has voted 6-4 in favour of making a decision on plans for the O2 ABC site today.

There had been calls for a hearing, which would have allowed both the developers and objectors, including GSoA, to make their case.
