Petition: Ban cheap renewable energy from being charged at the price of expensive gas Mandate energy providers to stop charging the same price as expensive gas for much cheaper renewable energy. We think they should pass any savings on to consumers, rather than keeping them as profit.

My photo shows a flint tool known as a laurel-leaf point due to its symmetrical shape similar to that of a laurel leaf. It was found in a cache of 16 expertly crafted points at Volgu, a site in Rigny-sur-Arroux, Saône-et-Loire, France. Masterfully shaped from a block of pale, translucent flint, the point is 28 cm long and 1 cm thick, with edges so wafer thin they are translucent. It shows no signs of use damage. Dated to the Solutrean period of the Upper Paleolithic. On display Musée d’Archéologie Nationale, Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Thirteen of the laurel leaf points from the Volgu cache are part of the collections at the Musée Vivant Denon, Chalon-sur-Saône, France and there is also a Volgu point in the collections at the British Museum.

Exquisite c. 20,000 year-old laurel-leaf point.

Expertly worked and aesthetically beautiful, this Solutrean flint tool is 28 cm long, just 1 cm thick, with edges so thin they’re translucent!
