Come to think of it, those four million Americans do deserve representation in Congress. Puerto Rico and Washington DC combined have as many residents as Alaska, N and S Dakota, Vermont, and Wyoming COMBINED. Those five states have 10 Senators, so why shouldn’t Puerto Rico and DC have four?

Easily several hundred people have packed into this plaza in Chicago's North Center tonight in response to ICE abducting a daycare worker early this morning.

This is a neighborhood that has largely been spared until now from the "Midway Blitz" terror campaign. But everyone knows someone affected.

The government used to track grocery prices, so you didn’t have to base this off of if people thought prices were going up or down. We had data. And numbers. And facts.

But now we just kinda vibe it because that data is something else Trump has destroyed in this shutdown.

Can’t say I’ve ever seen this clean a sweep for progressive candidates and ballot measures, ever. Top to bottom, coast to coast.

I can’t ever recall a single election in my lifetime that was such a sweep of races from the top to the bottom of the ballot, across the entire nation. Usually there’s a few we lose, even in an amazing year. I haven’t seen a single disappointing outcome for team blue tonight. 💙💙💙

Guy in line to vote in Sacramento with his family, when asked on MSNBC about bringing his whole family with him, says “you gotta do what you gotta do. Gotta stay free.”

As one of many Angelenos who felt conflicted in our support of a team that didn’t stand solidly with its supporters in a time of crisis, I’ll just say (a) the Blue Jays were incredible in this and (b) it was so nice to hear and see LA having a moment of joy last night after fires and ice this year.

Hats off to Toronto for an incredible series and atmosphere at their stadium and lineup of incredible players.

After the year we have had in LA, I’m just relieved to hear so much celebrating outside my window tonight. Fires and ice, but tonight a moment of joy.

Hats off to the Blue Jays. We know the feeling of seeing another team celebrate winning the big dance on our field from 2017 and 2018. Toronto’s time will come.

Tonight I’m just so happy to hear Los Angeles celebrating. It has been a very difficult year for us, and I’m grateful for a moment of joy.
